- To Asses and Visualize the progress of the development Plan
proposals, the review of the implementation of the development Plan
proposals periodically shall be made by the Authority.
- As per the provision of the Gujarat town Planning and Urban
Development act Under section–21, once in ten years Development plan
is to be revised.
- VUDA has
prepared development plan based on latest information regarding existing Roads, land use
pattern, Population etc, and adequate care taking to ensure public
participation from Various Sections of the Society including Experts,
local bodies, Government and Semi Government Organization.
- The objections and suggestions received were
processed by the Authority keeping in mind the over frame work of the
Development plan proposals.
- Final Draft Revised
Development plan Submitted to the Government on 22-12-94.
- which was
Sectioned by Government with notifications No. GH/V/171 of
1996/DVP/1294/4036/L dated 25-10-96 is in force since 26-11-96.

As per the provision of the
Gujarat town planning and Urban development act under
section-21, once in ten years, development plan is to be revised VUDA
has decided and started to prepare IInd revised development
plan.

Based on latest information regarding existing Roads, land use
Pattern, Population etc., and adequate care taking to ensure public
participation from various sections of the society including
experts, local bodies, government and semi government organization
the plan was finalized.

VUDA
has submitted draft development plan and general development control
regulation to the Govt. of Gujarat under section-9 of the act on
dt.23-11-2006.

Published in Govt. Gazette under Section -13 of the act on dt.
24-11-2006 and received objections and suggestions from public.

VUDA
has published in Govt. Gazette under section - 15 of the act on
06-07-2007 and received objection and suggestions.

IInd
revised development plan was submitted to the Govt. Under section
-16 of the act on dt.21-11-2007 for the final approval.

Revised Draft Development plan's main attractions :
1. Provision of the new Ring Road.
2. All arterial roads
are of 75.0 mt. wide.
3. R1,R2,R3 divisions in Residential Zone.
4. IT Zone
,Technology and Biotech Park ,Health Node,
Knowledge Township and
Recreation Zone. |
